"The music that can deepest reach and cure all ill, is cordial speech" - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Malcolm Ferreira

Malcolm burst onto the comedy scene in 2001, and hasn’t looked back since.. With his life philosophy never far behind, a saying borrowed from Sir Francis Bacon “Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not, and a sense of humor to console him for what he is”. A saying Malcolm has taken to heart, and has even been dubbed the Dr Phil of politically incorrectness, due to his astute observational abilities and no holds barred delivery style. With this foundation he has worked many comedy rooms both locally and abroad. Malcolm has the unique ability to read just about any audience and adapt to any environment..

Malcolm started his international career performing at the groundbreaking SA only stage at the Edinburgh festival in 2005, earning rave reviews: “Malcolm’s sharp witted barbs were the highlight of the show” the Scotsman. Going on to perform in London, Dublin, Seychelles, Sydney, Dubai and of course Botswana..

Television appearances include sketches for The Flipside and The pure monate show, Comedy showcase, The Res, Pap Idols.. Malcolm was also a firm favorite as the ‘original’ 94.7 Fugitive. Due to his quick wit and fearless approach to stage performances, he has been a valued member of a couple of improv troupes, as well as a festival, Up the Creek and Oppikoppi, favourite.

Put all of this together and you get a fresh, dynamic and original comic, who’s fast becoming one of the most in demand corporate MC/entertainers in South Africa.
