Bongani Bingwa has worked on television on a variety of shows beginning in 1993 when he was still a student. Educated at ST Johns and Wits University, he has hosted shows on business, entertainment and news. His career in journalism began on radio as a newsreader and talk show host. He joined the Carte Blanche team as a journalist and anchor for the Africa show in April 2007. He has conducted interviews with the man on the street, international celebrities and government ministers. Apart from the show he is currently working on the television broadcast of the team draw for the FIFA world cup 2010 as an associate producer. He is also a much in demand MC for corporate events.
