Professional Experience
During the period 1970-1975, Azar Jammine was an Analyst at Senbank and subsequently at stockbrokers Martin & Co.

He went on to complete his PhD in Economics and, to pay his way, conducted numerous business consultancy projects in Europe, North America, and the Far East.

Dr Jammine then returned to South Africa in December 1985 to take up the position of Director and Chief Economist of Econometrix (Pty) Limited. He has occupied that position ever since.

Dr Jammine is also the co-author of the books McGregor’s "Economic Alternatives", "Trends Transforming South Africa", and "Mindset for the new generation on South Africa".

In addition, Dr Jammine is a non-executive director of Fedsure, African Merchant Bank, Heckett MultiServ, Coronet Capital, Iron Fireman, Netcare and Clinic Holdings.
