Although the “PartyMan” days have been left behind with a change in shows, Richard still likes to revisit his moniker every now and then. And besides, now Cape Town knows the best way to distress in the busy traffic, is to tune in to his 3 to 7pm show Monday to Friday.
When he is not on air Richard indulges himself and his talents in the art of stand-up comedy, writing for magazines and is currently working on scripts for several TV and movie projects. He is also a sought after voice artist and well seasoned and sought after MC.
Richard has interviewed a wide array of artists and international figures in his career from Bono to Robert Kiyosaki, to The Bee Gees through to Celine Dion and Johnny Clegg.
It’s not just the gift of the gab though. Richard has a background in Ecommerce, advanced web-development, marketing and business. He spent four years traveling the States and Europe as an Executive VIP host in the gambling industry.
Mr July on the 2006 Cosmopolitan sexiest man calendar, this hunky 31 year old says he spends whatever free time he has “looking for that next challenge.” He says he also surfs, "badly", and loves traveling and exploring. Richard is married and recently became the proud father of a son.
