Summary Profile

Red Light Fever (ex Rip Tide) is a live five piece party band specialising in corporate functions and events that require the vibe and feel of a true live band.

The female vocalist Scarlett and front man / vocalist Sam provide the energy and
audience participation, which are key elements to all successful functions.

Should you require an emcee or compere at your event, Mike and Sam step smoothly into the appropriate role. When your function requires a DJ as well, David will add 20 years of DJ experience to the mix, enabling Rip Tide to customise entertainment to suit your specific needs. If your event has a particular theme, Sam and Scarlett can provide a suitable cabaret performance.

Red Light Fever's awesome sound is thanks to Rodger, whose engineering, equipment and sound experience takes the band to high levels of professionalism and quality.

Red Light Fever brings to life the sounds of: Elvis Presley, Dire Straits, CCR and many other hits from the 50’s up to the latest releases, such as Christina Aguilera and Timbaland. Even local music is represented in the form of songs by Sipho Hotstix Mabuse, Malaika, Brenda Fassie and Hotline.

The band is available as a 5, 6 or 7 piece by adding members Vusi on percussion and Dudu on keyboards should your event require a big band.

All sound and lighting equipment is provided by the band for events up to 1000 pax with reliability, punctuality and professionalism being our motto.

Some of our many satisfied clients include: The American Chamber of Commerce, Robor, RNS Home Loans, Discovery Health, Fraser Alexander and ABSA
