In his nearly 20 years of advising clients, Jason has presented to the boards of top listed companies, both domestically and internationally as well as various industry groups across sectors, from mining, manufacturing and construction, to retail, transport and public sector entities.
Before embarking on a career as an independent economic analyst, Jason led the FirstRand Group’s sector and provincial research through his various senior roles at Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) and First National Bank (FNB). Prior to joining the FirstRand Group, he was the global head of natural resources research at Accenture, a global management consultancy.
He holds a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
