Jim started Financial Fitness during April 1996. He has been involved with investment education, advice and management since 1982, first in South Africa then the USA.
While living in the United States and working for Investors Edge, he realised that most people didn’t invest because they could not save - a little obvious, but totally overlooked. So, between 1994-95 he wrote the course material for Financial Fitness The Easy Way and returned to South Africa, to establish the company, in January 1996. The company now provides Financial Advice and Discretionary Asset Management services for almost 2000 private investors.
Jim is a Member of The Institute of Financial Markets and holds a Discretionary Asset Management licence with the Financial Services Board.
